On Our Way...

Day 1 of our adventure was all spent traveling and waiting in airports.  Starting out for the airport at 4:30 a.m.in Billings, after stops in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Atlanta, Georgia, we arrived in Quito, Ecuador after 11:00 p.m.  Still we weren’t quite done.  There was a lengthy wait to clear Customs (Our papers must have checked out because they let us into the country…North too.), and then a long cab ride across Quito delivered us to our hotel.  Bedtime finally came sometime after 1:00 a.m.  A long day.
